With enough wineries in the region to keep you busy tasting and touring for days, it seems a natural evolution for craft breweries to begin to set up shop in Niagara too. Now home to a burgeoning craft brewery scene, you can taste at some of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s best breweries with a Beer Tour like the one provided by White Oaks. Offered throughout the week (Sun-Fri) for only $99 per person including luxury transportation, this 3.5 hour brew-rney will get you samples of unique local beers and a fun time looking in on the local beer hotspots.
The tour begins with a stop at the Oast House Brewery where you can take in their hip barn facility, hop garden and maybe even a game of ping-pong while sampling their finest.
Next check out Silversmith Brewery, who have built their home base within a repurposed old church, complete with stain-glass windows and plenty of samples on tap.
Cross over the farmlands to Ravine Vineyards, where you’ll get to try their new cider, brewed from Niagara apples. The rustic farm winery is also known for its wines, breads and cheeses and sprawling vineyard view.
Finish off at Niagara College Teaching Brewery, a truly unique beer stop. The college offers both winemaking and brewmaster programs, each very highly regarded. Here you’ll have a large choice of student brews to sample from, and get a peek into their learning facility.
